Summary of Ways of seeing.
Ways of seeing seeks to express how important images are, due to they represent one of the most important act done by human beings; the act of seeing. The book begins by saying that “seeing becomes before words. The child looks and recognizes before it can speak.” We are always seeing things and people, no matter where we are or what we are doing. However, the perspective we get from seeing is not neutral, I mean it is determined or at least influenced by our previous knowledge or our beliefs. From this fact is understandable to think that the way people see changes through time, history and context. There are several ways to show ways of seeing; images, pictures, paintings, etc. Every image wants to communicate something. What we need to be aware of is what it is, why and from what point of view it comes.

I liked the way you conclude your summary saying that "every image wants to communicate something" I agree with you,because that is why images are created to represent something.

I think you´ve chosen a key work in your summary, i.e. "neutral". You are very right in pointing out that perspective is not neutral. One sees through his/her own experience, interests, beliefs, etc. Therefore, as you´ve very clearly put it, perspective changes over time.
Your concluding remarks are a clear sign that your interpretation of the text by Berger has made you understand how important it is to be aware of differences in viewpoints. Who, what, when and why are then crucial words to ask.

Hi Naty
Well I decided to comment your presentation. First, because your presentation was pretty easy to follow. Second because you knew about what were you talking about and when we asked question you were able to answers them. Actually I liked it because you make me think about and issue that no one else make think about.
Well I think that what you need to improve is you pronunciation. Sometimes you make elemenatry mistakes, but I know that if you work on it you will be able to improve that part.
Your organization was great... Congratulations because of that...
